About GPT Sherpa

GPT Sherpa is a working data scientist’s notebook of LLM patterns, made public. It collects the parts that have survived contact with real projects — Claude Code setup, project control documents (CLAUDE.md), Quarto authoring, knowledge workflows, and copy-paste templates.

I’m Harlan Nelson, a clinical data scientist. Personal site: harlananelson.com. I publish here when a pattern is generic enough to be reusable by anyone working with LLMs.
